Detroit - The United Auto Workers today announced a broad campaign to have Congress move forward on passing the Build Back Better and bi-partisan Infrastructure bills and Kildee/Stabenow Provision to protect good paying American jobs.

Due to the increasing numbers in Covid, the Delta varient and out of an abundence of caution, the UAW has decided to NOT participate in this years Labor Day Parade.  We are hopeful that we will be back in 2022!

Every Wednesday starting September 1 - October 27 Seniors (age 60 and better!) will recieve FREE admission to the Toledo Zoo, FREE parking at the Anthony Wayne lot plus special discounts throughout the Zoo.  Come out and see the animal demos, take a guided tour of the zoo grounds, play BINGO and listen to live music.

Focus on Building, Growing and Strengthening Membership

Detroit - With a focus on building, growing, and strengthening membership, the UAW International Executive Board (IEB), on Monday June 28, unanimously elected Secretary-Treasurer Ray Curry to serve as UAW President upon the retirement of Rory L. Gamble for the remainder of the current term, which ends in June 2022 at the 38th Constitutional Convention.
